Learning, Caring Together in Faith

Bee on Time

Be on time for school
Our doors open at 8.45 am and lessons start at 8.55am.  It's important for children to be in school at the start of their lessons.  The children start work straight away and then go into assembly.

Bumble helps the children remember to be on time.

Ask your child to sing the Bumble song - we all enjoy singing it.

Remember:

Bumble says 'Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee on time at 5 to 9!

Be on time at 5 to 9
5 to 9, 5 to 9
Be on time at 5 to 9
We like to play and learn

World Book Day
'World Book Day' is usually held in March and each child will be given a £1.00 Book token which can be used in participating book stores.

The vouchers can also be used towards the cost of a book from our March Scholastic Book Leaflet, or alternatively they will be accepted at our Scholastic Book Fair which we usually hold.

Water for Health & Learning
In school we are always looking for ways to make our school healthier.  The whole school have decided to focus on drinking more water - this make us healthier and also helps us to learn better.

Each child is encouraged to bring in a water bottle.  This is separate to the drink your child may bring in for lunch.  The named water bottle will be kept in a specific place in the classroom for him/her to drink whenever he/she feel the need.  When the bottle needs filling up or cleaning your child will being it home to have it refilled and sent back to school.

Thank you for helping us become a 'healthy' school.
