This half term we are looking at forgiveness.

The children learn how important forgiveness is. Taking time to reflect helps us to think about this, and allows us to work as a school team. Week 1 - Spiritual Leaders Activities Forgiveness Leaves - to recognise a time where children have forgiven another person and why.
Prayers - Writing a prayer to Jesus.
Week 2 - Spiritual Leaders Activities
Forgiveness Doves - to write about a time the children have seen forgiveness.
Week 3/4/5 - Spiritual Leaders Activities Sorry cards, Forgiveness Doves, Forgiveness Leaves and Prayers.
Spiritual Leaders Group Spiritual Leaders meet twice a week. Meeting 1 - 5 minutes of Monday playtime to recap the Spiritual Leaders Activites for the week. Meeting 2 - 20-25 minutes in Worship time. We look at new activities, discuss what is working and what isn't. We come up with new ideas and read stories relating to our value. In worships this half term Mrs Woan has been taching the children all about Joseph and how he demonstrates forgiveness. In Spiritual Leaders Group so far, we have looked at: Jonah the Groaner The Angry Bee Rosa Learns About Forgiveness We have looked at the different ways people have found forgiveness; shown it and how the stories make us feel.
