Spring 2 - Super Us!
This half term we are going to be learning all about Spring, Easter and Recycling
We will be starting the term by eating pancakes!
We will be learning all about Lent and children will have the opportunity to give up 1 chocolate egg for Lent!
We will be going on a Spring walk to spot the signs of Spring and make observational drawings of what we see.
We will be learning about different materials and which materials to recycle.
In PSHE we will be starting 'My Happy Mind' learning all about our brain and ways to help keep us calm.
In Literacy we will be continuing with drawing club, learning new vocabulary, enjoying stories, drawing and writing!
Some of the texts we will read are:
Maths
In maths we will learn numbers 9 and 10 and how to add and subtract within these numbers.
We will learning the days of the week and about height and length.
Children will also continue to develop their knowledge of early doubling using numbers to 10.
Religious Education
Our Christian Value is Forgiveness.
In RE we are learning about the stories Jesus told and the Easter story.
We will be reading the following stories...
